Experienced hillwalkers will take 8-10 days to travel the full length of the Wicklow way during which they will encounter parkland, forest trails, wild and scenic mountain landscape, rolling countryside, mountain lakes and ruined buildings including the monastic settlement in  beautiful Glendalough.
But for many walkers a 4 or 5 hour trek is enough and there many groups organising these day tours to some of Wicklow's most scenic spots including The Devil's Glen, Sculpture in the Woodland (Ashford), St. Kevins Way (Hollywood to Glendalough) and The Great Sugarloaf.
